Health Canada Approves of DENOZA™, a Denosumab Biosimilar

Apotex Inc., a Canadian based global pharmaceutical company announced that Health Canada has approved DENOZA™ (denosumab injection), a denosumab biosimilar, for its authorized indications.

These include the treatment of postmenopausal women with osteoporosis at high risk for fracture and the treatment of osteoporosis in men at high risk for fracture. DENOZA is also authorized for the remaining indications of the reference biologic.
