DENOZA® (denosumab injection), a biosimilar from Apotex, is now available in Canada

PrDENOZA® is indicated for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis, and to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis, men receiving androgen deprivation therapy for nonmetastatic prostate cancer, women receiving adjuvant aromatase inhibitor therapy for nonmetastatic breast cancer, and in glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis — in patients at high risk for fracture.

DENOZA is covered by major private drug plans and is currently listed on the Ontario Drug Benefit Formulary, the RAMQ List of Medications and the Nova Scotia Formulary.
