We were the world’s first-ever osteoporosis-dedicated organization, the first to establish guidelines for long-term treatment and exercise, and the first to introduce fracture risk assessment. But we’re just getting started. More firsts are within our grasp – that’s where you come in. Osteoporosis Canada relies on the generosity of Canadians, and we are grateful to the individuals, groups, foundations, and companies that provide ongoing financial support, enabling us to advance research, education, and advocacy.
You can join this group of caring supporters who have a direct impact on the lives of Canadians living with osteoporosis today:
In keeping with our mission to educate, empower and support individuals and communities in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, Osteoporosis Canada communicates concerns about various aspects of care across Canada to provincial and federal governments. This is done through advocacy.
By volunteering with Osteoporosis Canada you have the opportunity to impact the lives of those affected by osteoporosis. With your help, we teach Canadians how to improve their bone health so osteoporosis can never take hold. We support those already diagnosed, and work to improve their quality of life. Your commitment can affect those in your community or someone close to you.
Osteoporosis Canada is grateful to all its corporate partners, whose vital support allows our organization to continue to be at the forefront of osteoporosis support, education, research and advocacy for all Canadians. Contact us to find out how.
