Osteoporosis Canada Becomes HealthPartners Member
May 16, 2025
In March 2025 it was announced that Osteoporosis Canada was one of three new charities to join the membership of HealthPartners in the mission to create a healthier Canada and support people in Canada living with serious health conditions.
HealthPartners brings workplaces, health charities and the communities they support together in a single, shared purpose — to improve the lives of people across Canada who are living with serious illness through innovative workplace fundraising campaigns.
As a member, Osteoporosis Canada together with HealthPartners provides the opportunity to reach even more workplaces, raise more funds and support an even greater number of people affected by serious health conditions.
“With nearly 90% of people in Canada likely to be affected by one of the conditions we fundraise for, the need for our collective efforts has never been greater,” said Kimberley Hanson, CEO of HealthPartners. “By joining forces with these charities, we’re broadening our reach and impact, empowering workplaces, and driving more donations for health charities who provide crucial services, education and medical research.”
“Our work to reduce the burden of osteoporosis takes on new strength with HealthPartners. Together, we’re empowering individuals and workplaces to prioritize bone health and prevent fractures before they happen.” – Dr. Famida Jiwa, President and CEO, Osteoporosis Canada.
With the expansion of new charitable partners including Osteoporosis Canada, a single donation to HealthPartners will have an even greater impact, supporting a broader range of causes. Donors can contribute to the collective fund or choose to direct their support to specific charities within our network, giving them more flexibility in how they make a difference.
