Twice each summer, Township 7 Winery invites Osteoporosis Canada to be the charity of choice for their Art in the Vines craft markets in Langley BC. More than 300 people attend each Art in the Vines, drawn by the picturesque setting, the hand-crafted creations of more than 25 local artisans, and Township 7’s award winning wines. As the charity of choice, Osteoporosis Canada has the unique opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of good bone health with the many guests who attend.
Your role as an Osteoporosis Canada event volunteer will be to participate in various aspects of Osteoporosis Canada’s participation in Art in the Vines. This includes liaising with winery staff and other volunteers, running bone health themed activities during the event, providing bone health education to patrons, assembling materials to be included in Osteoporosis Canada’s booth, and collecting donations. Training will be provided by Osteoporosis Canada.
