Physical Therapy – Supporting Good Bone + Muscle Health

Physical activity is important for bone and muscle health, as it helps protect your spine, slows the rate of bone loss, and builds muscle. However, people who have fractured and/or have been diagnosed with osteoporosis often stop exercise and activities fearing they will break a bone but being active and engaging in physical therapy can help strengthen your bones and muscles. Join Osteoporosis Canada with Joanne McKee, Physiotherapist who will speak about how physiotherapists can be an integral part of your healthcare team.
