Laurie Barker Jackman is a Registered Dietitian based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with more than 25 years of experience helping people improve their health through practical, approachable nutrition. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from St. Francis Xavier University.

A passionate communicator, Laurie has been a regular dietitian expert on CTV Your Morning Atlantic since 2001, using evidence-based nutrition messaging to share recipes and simple, accessible strategies that help viewers make confident food choices and achieve their best health.
