Dr. Wendy Ward is a Professor in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University where she holds a Canada Research Chair in Bone and Muscle Development. Dr. Ward’s research program studies how foods and food components can set us on a better trajectory for bone health throughout the lifespan. Dr. Ward is the Chair of the Nutrition Working Group for the development of the 2023 Osteoporosis Canada Clinical Practice Guideline and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of Osteoporosis Canada.
