We are seeking volunteers for a research project about barriers and facilitators that they had experience after a hip fracture. Your participation will contribute valuable insights that can help improve the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of rehabilitation services for older adults recovering from hip fractures.
You may be eligible if you are 65 years or older, have had hip fracture surgery within the last year across Canada, have access to the internet, and can provide consent yourself.
If you are interested and agree to participate, you would be asked to:
Participation in this study is completely voluntary, and withdrawal doesn’t affect your access to care or treatment.
Your data will be stored as de-identified data at encrypted Western University servers for 7 years in accordance with university policies and will be destroyed thereafter. Meanwhile, your de-identified data could be used for future related studies about hip fractures and rehabilitation.
