Dr. Jenny Thain

Jenny Thain BMed Sci, BM BS, MRCP

Dr. Jenny Thain is a Geriatrician and Associate Professor within the Division of Geriatric Medicine, Western University.  Her areas of clinical interest include osteoporosis and bone health, with a particular interest in orthogeriatric hip fracture care.  She is a member of the Osteoporosis Canada Scientific Advisory Council, Chair of the Canadian Geriatrics Society Osteoporosis and Bone Health Special Interest Group, and a member of the Fragility Fracture Network Scientific Committee, North American Steering Committee and Board of Directors.  Dr. Thain is a co-author on the Canadian Position Paper addressing post hip fracture orthogeriatric care.  She is also active in medical education and is the program director of the Western Geriatric Medicine Residency Program and Orthogeriatric Fellowship.
