Bone Health 101

Join us at the Ontario Science Centre to learn more about your bone health.

Did you know at least 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men will suffer from an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime.

What can you do to protect your bones? Learn about osteoporosis, the risk of fracturing and how to maintain healthy bones.

This education event will present the following information:

  • What osteoporosis is
  • The risk of fracturing a bone
  • Maintaining healthy bones
  • Impact of nutrition & physical activity
  • Fall prevention

Parking:
There are two parking lots and a limited number of on-site parking spaces. Parking costs $6 for the day – please let the attendant know you are here from an event with Osteoporosis Canada. Accessibility: Designated accessible extra-wide parking spaces are available.

TTC:
Bus route 100, 25, 925 or 81 from Pape Station.
Bus route 25 from Don Mills station.
Bus route 34C from Eglinton station.

DVP South: Exit Eglinton Avenue East
DVP North: Exit 7B Don Mills Road

Upon Arrival:
Please enter at the IMAX entrance (fully accessible) and follow signs for BH101 Osteoporosis Canada.
