Award Criteria

The Community Backbone Award is presented annually to individuals who:

Are considered integral to the organization by proving their commitment to the mission and vision of Osteoporosis Canada.
Provide leadership, inspiration, or guidance to other volunteers and / or community members.
Demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism through their on-going actions.
Support OC by promoting and supporting the organizations activities in their community, workplace or organization.
