Osteoporosis Canada is the only national organization serving people affected by osteoporosis. The organization works to educate, empower and support individuals and communities on bone health and in the risk-reduction and treatment of osteoporosis with a vision of a Canada without osteoporotic fractures.
With your help, we teach Canadians how to improve their bone health so osteoporosis can never take hold. We support those already diagnosed, and work to improve their quality of life.
Volunteers are fundamental to helping our organization reach our mission and vision.
All registered volunteers are required to complete volunteer education training (vet), an online training course which includes information about the fracture prevention program, how to put your best foot forward as a volunteer, information about bone health, osteoporosis, the care gap and community leadership training.
