Volunteer for Osteoporosis Canada
Osteoporosis is a disease that affects 2 million Canadians and Osteoporosis Canada is working to minimize the impact of this disease, and provide those diagnosed with the support they need.
By volunteering with Osteoporosis Canada you have the opportunity to impact the lives of those affected by osteoporosis. With your help, we teach Canadians how to improve their bone health so osteoporosis can never take hold. We support those already diagnosed, and work to improve their quality of life. Your commitment can affect those in your community or someone close to you.
Osteoporosis Canada has launched a new volunteer model, Volunteer Education Training (VET), a four-level online training course available to registered volunteers. This course includes material about the fracture prevention program, how to put your best foot forward as a volunteer, information about osteoporosis, the care gap and community leadership training.
There are a range of volunteer opportunities available dependant on your skills, interests and availability so that we can match the right role for you.
