Virtual Cooking Classes with Osteoporosis Canada
Join Osteoporosis Canada’s virtual cooking classes hosted by Emily Richards, Professional Home Economist. These 1-hour interactive instructive cook-alongs will help you learn new recipes featuring calcium and protein – bone building nutrients.
If you live within the city of Winnipeg, you can register for any of the classes that interest you during this 4-week series.
There are only 20 spots available so don’t wait to register! For those outside of Winnipeg each cook-along will be live streamed on the Osteoporosis Canada Facebook page.
The virtual cook-along will be hosted on Zoom using your computer, tablet or mobile device. The Zoom link will be emailed 1 day before the class.
Grocery Delivery from DeLuca’s
Each registrant will receive a box of ingredients for the featured recipe from DeLuca’s the day prior to the cook-along between 1:00 – 5:00 pm CT.
DeLuca’s in Winnipeg has no-contact delivery and their courier will have a no-touch policy and deliver the boxed groceries including fresh ingredients to your door step the day prior to the scheduled virtual class. You must ensure that you or a member of your household will be home to accept the delivery.
An email containing the featured recipe link, along with equipment list and what you will need to prep prior to the start of the online class.
Registration is $15.00 per person, per week.
Each week, every registered participant will receive:
- Box of ingredients for the featured recipe for that week’s cook-along. Every day ingredients such as salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar will not be included.
- One Osteoporosis Canada #unbreakable apron
- One Canola Eat Well Squeeze Bottle
